ARUTPERUNJOTHI ARUTPERUNJOTHI THANIPERUNGKARUNAI ARUTPERUNJOTHI

Thiruvarutprakasa Vallalār Chidambaram Ramalingam (1823–1874), also known as Vallalār, was a Tamil saint who preached Jeevakarunyam (compassion for all beings) and taught deathlessness.
He founded the Samarasa Suddha Sanmarga Sathiya Sangam to eliminate the caste system and promote universal love, unity, and divine wisdom.
Vallalar espoused the veneration of the radiant flameas a symbol of the Divine's omnipotence, embodying a pure spiritual path.
Ramalinga espoused the veneration of the radiant flame emanating from a lit lamp, not as a deity unto itself, but rather as a symbol representing the enduring omnipotence of the Divine, as opposed to the adoration of statues within a monotheistic framework.
There is only one supreme truth and one divine power, the foundation of all existence.
Kindness and love towards all living beings are the core practice to attain divine grace.
The ultimate aim is to achieve a body free from aging, sickness, and death through divine grace.
It is presented as a "true common principle" for all, transcending caste and religion.
A disciplined approach is necessary to understand and realize the supreme truth.
Suddha Sanmargam is considered the highest spiritual path. It seeks to bring peace and happiness to the world through universal love and the pursuit of immortality.
Vallalar’s Sanmargam continues to grow worldwide as a spiritual path stressing compassion, universal love, and the ultimate realization of the divine grace light within all beings.
The Flag of the Samarasam Suddha Sanmarga Sathya Sangam is known as the **Arut Perum Jyoti (Vast Grace Light) Flag**. It consists of a white cloth with five concentric rings of color: **White, Yellow, Red, Black, and Blue**. It symbolizes the five cosmic principles (tattvas) and the layers of illusion (maya) that the soul must transcend to realize the Divine Light. The central white color represents the final, pure state of the soul upon merging with the Vast Grace Light.

The Sathya Gnana Sabai, located in Vadalur, is not a traditional temple with idols, but a **Hall of True Wisdom**. It was established by Vallalar for the worship of the Formless Vast Grace Light. The structure itself is a powerful symbol, designed with seven curtains (representing the seven subtle causes of illusion) that must be removed through devotion and self-effort to behold the light within. It stands as a beacon for the realization of the truth of 'Arut Perum Jyoti'.

The Vallalarin Vivegam Foundation draws its inspiration from the profound spiritual and humanitarian teachings of Thiruvarutprakasa Vallalar. Our entire mission is dedicated to the principle of Jeevakarunyam (compassion for all life), as encapsulated in his famous verse:
‘வாடிய பயிரைக் கண்டபோதெல்லாம் வாடினேன்’ — Vallalar (I withered whenever I saw a withering crop)
The Jothi Darisanam at the Gnanasabai in Vadaloor is the heart of Vallalar's path, symbolizing the ultimate, formless light of wisdom and compassion that guides our actions in social service and spiritual growth.

Inspired by the teachings and essence of **இராமலிங்கம்** (Ramalingam). This text signifies a profound spiritual state and connection.
